At Krauthaus, we take every precaution to ensure your artisan sauerkraut arrives as fresh and "live" as it was when it left our Dorset kitchen. Because our products are unpasteurised and brimming with probiotic goodness, temperature control and speed are our top priorities.

1. Fast 48-Hour Service

To minimize time out of refrigeration, all orders are dispatched via a fast 48-hour shipping service. We aim to get your kraut from our door to yours as quickly as possible to maintain its crisp texture and biological integrity.

2. Flat Rate Shipping

We charge a flat shipping rate on all orders. This rate is a fair reflection of the actual cost required to ship our products safely, including the specialized cooling materials and the robust protective boxing needed to prevent breakage.

3. Dispatch Schedule

To ensure your kraut doesn't sit in a sorting office over the weekend, we typically dispatch orders Monday through Thursday.

4. Your Responsibility

Because Krauthaus is a perishable product, it must be kept refrigerated immediately upon arrival.

• Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.
• We cannot offer refunds for products left at room temperature for extended periods.
